Position Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping our brand’s voice and public perception across various digital platforms. This position requires creativity, strategic thinking, and online expertise while working closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product design, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Create, curate, and manage published content across multiple social platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy, while analyzing social media metrics to assess performance.
- Engage with customers via social media platforms to nurture relationships and gather feedback.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to enhance promotional campaigns and ensure they are effective across social channels.
- Design and run social media contests and campaigns to drive brand engagement.
- Oversee and manage the social media advertising budget and propose effective near-term and long-term strategies for growth.
- Work alongside influencers and partner agencies to broaden our outreach efforts.
- Keep the senior management informed about trends in social media and the brand’s competitive landscape.
- Lead and mentor a small team of social media coordinators and interns.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate for the Social Media Manager role will possess a mix of creativity, analytical skills, and a firm understanding of digital marketing strategies. Here are the qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Proficient in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.), analytics software (Google Analytics), and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Demonstrated success in building engaged communities and leveraging social media for brand growth.
